Legislator detail

GET /api/v1/legislators/:id

Returns the legislator's roles, party, contact details, and sponsored-bills count.

Unified search

GET /api/v1/search?q=privacy&type=all&semantic=true

Searches bills and regulations together. Use type=bills or type=regulations to scope it, and semantic=true to match on meaning rather than exact words.

Find representatives by address

GET /api/v1/representatives?address=1600+Pennsylvania+Ave+NW,+Washington+DC

Geocodes the address to a district and returns the matching legislators — the same lookup that powers find-your-legislator in Advocacy Hubs.
