However, except as provided in sections 25 and 25a of chapter IX of the code of criminal procedure, 1927 PA 175, MCL 769.25 and 769.25a, if death was caused ELF H06767'26 (H-1) c3w65j by the terrorist act, violation of subsection (1), the person shall must be punished by imprisonment for life without eligibility for parole.
