The bill HB 5773 has been updated to focus specifically on minors who are being treated for conditions related to prenatal alcohol exposure. The previous version also included provisions for pregnant women suspected of alcohol consumption, but this has been removed. This change is significant because it narrows the bill's focus, potentially making it easier for healthcare providers to address the needs of children affected by prenatal alcohol exposure without having to consider the cases of expectant mothers.
