The recent changes to Bill HB 5254 include the addition of a requirement for two other bills, Senate Bill No. 95 and House Bill No. 5255, to be enacted before HB 5254 can take effect. Previously, it only referenced House Bill No. 5255. This shift is important because it underscores the need for multiple pieces of legislation to work together, ensuring a more coordinated approach to whatever policy changes are being proposed in these bills.
