Plain-language change summary

The latest version of HB 4892 includes new language that clarifies who can work alongside certified public accountants (CPAs). Specifically, it states that individuals who aren't licensed CPAs can still assist CPAs as long as they don't sign off on any accounting documents themselves. This change is important because it allows more flexibility in the workforce, enabling more individuals to gain experience in the accounting field while ensuring that the integrity of financial statements is maintained.
