Plain-language change summary

The latest version of Senate Bill No. 330 updates the definition of a "facility for skilled nursing" to specify that these facilities provide inpatient care, rather than just care to patients in a general sense. Additionally, the bill requires cities and counties to adopt specific terms from state law when defining these facilities, but it allows local governments some flexibility if such facilities do not exist in their area. This change is important as it aims to ensure consistency in how skilled nursing facilities are defined and regulated across Nevada, ultimately providing clearer guidelines for care providers and patients alike.
