How this bill changes current law

4 changes Share ↗

Compared against the Nevada Revised Statutes as published AI-generated reading aid — verify against the official bill.

The bill requires that brokerage agreements be written contracts, removing the allowance for oral agreements.

  • NRS 645.005

means an oral or written contract → means a written contract

This change mandates that all brokerage agreements must be in writing.

  • NRS 645.300

    [written]

This modification eliminates the implication that a brokerage agreement can be verbal by removing 'written' from the text.

  • NRS 645.320

    [Be in writing.]

This change reinforces that brokerage agreements must be written by removing redundancy in stating they should be in writing.

  • NRS 645.633

    [written]

This revision further clarifies that references to agreements in these contexts are to be understood as requiring a written form, aligning with the new standard set by the bill.
