Existing law authorizes:
(1) the board of trustees of a school district to employ, appoint or contract for the provision of school police officers;
(NRS 388A.384, 391.281) Section 1 of this bill requires, on or before the first day of each school year, the governing body of a charter school that has entered into a contract for the provision of school police officers to prepare and publish on the Internet website of the school district or charter school, as applicable, a report relating to the use of force by school police officers during the immediately preceding school year.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
