(NRS 391.019) The Commission has adopted regulations governing the licensing and hiring of substitute teachers, providing that a school district may generally hire a substitute teacher:

(1) for unlimited days of service if he or she is filling the role of a licensed teacher who is under contract;
and (2) for 60 days if he or she is fillinge of the role of a licensed teacher who is not under contract.
