Plain-language change summary

The changes in SB 6002 primarily clarify the definition of an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) by removing references to specific traffic safety and photo toll cameras that do not connect with the ALPR system. This adjustment is important because it helps ensure that only relevant automated systems are considered under the bill, likely aiding in the focused regulation of surveillance technology. Additionally, unchanged definitions for local and state agencies help maintain a consistent understanding of who is involved in enforcing this legislation.
