The revised version of SB 6248 clarifies which laws apply to travel insurance, specifying that certain provisions in this chapter will take precedence over other general laws. This change is significant because it helps eliminate confusion and ensures a consistent regulatory framework for travel insurance. Additionally, the bill now explicitly states the actions of attorneys who handle insurance claims, ensuring that they are defined within the context of their professional duties. Overall, these adjustments aim to provide clearer guidelines for both consumers and insurance providers related to travel insurance.
