Plain-language change summary

The latest version of SB 5492 changes the appointment process for a tourism advisory group by requiring the board's chair to make the appointments within two weeks of the section's effective date, instead of leaving the timeline unspecified. This ensures a quicker formation of the advisory group, which is important for evaluating and recommending funding strategies for statewide tourism promotion. Additionally, the overall approach of appointing the advisory group remains consistent, maintaining representation across various tourism sectors.
