Plain-language change summary

In the latest revision of Bill SB 5772, the criteria for excluding a portion of alternative learning experience student enrollment from school districts' calculations has changed. The previous threshold of 33% has been reduced to 30%. This adjustment is significant because it allows more districts that have a growing number of students in online or remote learning to still receive funding without penalties, making it easier for schools to adapt to changing educational needs.
