Plain-language change summary

The revised SB 6228 has removed mention of "reselling of prescription drugs" from its focus. This change is significant because it shifts the bill away from addressing tax exemptions related to pharmacies, potentially redirecting its attention towards broader tax updates that affect other industries. The overall intent remains to refresh Washington's tax code and increase revenue for essential state services, signaling a push for a more equitable economic framework.
