and E WHEREAS, Chiles Family Orchards, which has been in operation for over a century, first as a D commercial production and later as a collective of “pick your own” ventures, is led today by owner and fifth- generation grower Henry Chiles;
and H WHEREAS, Chiles Family Orchards is producing a replica of its world-record-setting fruit to display at R its orchards, giving patrons the opportunity to appreciate and celebrate this extraordinary agricultural feat;
2 now, therefore, be it 21 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Chiles Family Orchards hereby be commended for setting 1E R the Guinness World Record for the heaviest peach;
and, be it 2 RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Henry Chiles, owner of Chiles Family Orchards, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the farm's achievement and best wishes for its continued success.
