The revised version of Bill S.131 includes important changes concerning the regulation of firearms in establishments that serve alcohol. Specifically, it now clearly allows the City of Burlington to enforce a ban on firearms in these locations and removes some previous, less specific language. This is significant because it empowers the city to implement stricter safety measures in places where alcohol is served, aiming to enhance public safety in social settings.
