The updated version of SB 26 includes several important changes to pest control regulations. Notably, it modifies the rules around pesticide applicator businesses by changing fee requirements and eliminating the need for a "qualified party" concept. Additionally, it introduces a permitting system for ornamental and turf technicians, as well as certain salespersons, which enhances oversight in these areas. These updates aim to streamline pest control practices while ensuring proper regulation and accountability.
