Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill SB 93 include the addition and removal of specific references to legal statutes that govern the disbursement of civil accounts receivable and civil judgments. The added text clarifies the order of priority for how disbursements should be handled, ensuring that funds are allocated fairly and according to established legal guidelines. This change matters because it provides clearer instructions for financial distributions, which can impact individuals owed money and the efficiency of the office responsible for these payments.
