Plain-language change summary

The latest version of Bill HB 176 has been updated to clarify who is exempted from being considered as conducting "trust business." Specifically, it now includes an exemption for individuals acting as a trust director but removes previous language that prohibited them from engaging in trust business. This change matters because it allows these individuals more flexibility in their roles without falling under the strict regulations typically associated with trust business, which could benefit those involved in fiduciary services.
