Plain-language change summary

The revised bill SB 209 now clearly outlines the requirement for the Division of State Parks to study the feasibility of creating Gooseberry Narrows State Park, focusing on potential costs related to developing a dam and other infrastructure. The previous version allowed for agreements with the Forest Service and consultations with local governments, but these components were removed to streamline the bill's objectives. This change is important because it emphasizes the state's commitment to evaluating the park's development potential, ensuring that crucial costs are assessed before moving forward with any plans.
