Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to HB 475 updated the name of the office responsible for economic development from the "Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity" to the "Governor's Office of Economic Development." Additionally, the bill now sets up the **Economic Development Council** which will have defined membership and duties, along with specific reporting requirements. These changes are significant as they aim to streamline economic development efforts and improve accountability within the new council, ensuring that state initiatives are more effectively planned and executed.
