Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 144 makes several key changes to the rules governing school community councils. It removes previous requirements related to digital citizenship education and changes the guidelines for how councils manage certain reports and documentation of votes. These adjustments matter because they simplify the council's responsibilities, potentially making it easier for parent members to participate, while also focusing efforts on other essential aspects of school governance.
