The latest version of SB 146 has changed how industrial byproducts can be used in projects. Now, industrial byproducts can be used in any project, rather than being limited to public projects, provided that the director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control approves the application for reuse. This means greater flexibility in managing waste materials, which could lead to more sustainable practices and cost savings in various construction and industrial efforts.
