The bill has been amended to reduce the restricted distance from one thousand feet to fifty feet from any place of worship where disruptive actions are not allowed. This change means that individuals cannot engage in activities intended to harass or intimidate worshippers within a much closer proximity. This matters because it aims to enhance the safety and peace of congregants during worship services, ensuring they can practice their faith without fear of disruption or intimidation.
