The recent amendment to Bill H 4546 allows the South Carolina General Assembly to consider the "Privacy in Public Spaces Act" (H. 4465) along with other matters when the session adjourns on May 8, 2025. This means that legislators can debate, vote on, and make decisions regarding this privacy legislation before the session officially ends. This change is significant because it speeds up the legislative process for a topic that many believe is important for protecting people's rights in public areas.
