The revised version of Bill SB 845 reduces the amount of funds being transferred from the Governor's Office - Civil Contingent Fund to the unappropriated surplus balance in the State Fund, from $15 million to approximately $14.1 million. Additionally, the bill now specifies the fiscal year 2023 and 2024 amounts being expired, which were not detailed in the earlier version. This change is significant as it reflects a more precise allocation of state resources and may impact future budgeting and spending decisions for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
