Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 114 includes a clarification on the approval process for training programs for nurse aides. Specifically, if the department doesn't approve a training program within certain time frames—45 days for initial applications and 15 days for revised ones—the application will automatically be considered approved. This change aims to streamline the approval process, ensuring that training for nurse aides happens more efficiently, which is crucial given the demand for qualified staff in long-term care facilities.
