Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill SB 88 includes the addition of language that emphasizes the requirement for insurance policies to cover mammograms for women. It clarifies that these policies must fully cover costs for annual mammograms for women aged 40 and older, and also allow for coverage under certain conditions for younger women. This change is important as it strengthens access to necessary breast cancer screenings, potentially improving early detection and health outcomes for women in the state.
