Plain-language change summary

The latest version of HB 1326 updates the regulations regarding pupil transportation, specifically clarifying the conditions under which school districts must provide transport for both public and nonpublic school students. Notably, it expands transportation provisions to include students attending nonpublic schools, ensuring they receive identical transportation services as public school pupils. This change is important as it promotes equity in educational opportunities, allowing more students to participate in school-related activities without the barrier of transportation costs or access.
