Plain-language change summary

The bill HB 710 was amended to include additional legislators' names, and it now specifies that the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation can verify that vehicle owners are financially responsible when registering or renewing their vehicle. This means that the department will ensure individuals are complying with financial responsibility laws, which could help reduce uninsured drivers on the road. By enhancing the verification process, the amendment aims to improve safety and accountability for all drivers.
