Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 80 removes a provision that encouraged cooperation among member states in regulating audiology and speech-language pathology practices. This simplification might make it easier for states to focus on the core goals of improving access to services and maintaining their regulatory authority. By eliminating this specific encouragement for cooperation, the bill may streamline the legislative process and focus on immediate public health and safety needs without added complexities.
