The revised version of Senate Bill No. 2230 clarifies the responsibility of the Secretary of State in North Dakota to provide educational materials regarding ballot measures. Notably, the bill now specifies that these materials must be distributed to "active voters" rather than those listed as "secured active" in the voter file. This change broadens the reach of the educational campaign to ensure more eligible voters receive crucial information about upcoming measures, which could enhance informed decision-making at the polls.
