Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to House Bill 1151 change its focus from revising existing regulations on the labeling and marketing of cell-cultured protein to proposing a study by the legislative management regarding its regulation. This study aims to analyze legal cases surrounding cell-cultured protein and explore the feasibility of prohibition in North Dakota. This shift is significant as it indicates a move towards gathering more information and assessing the broader implications of cell-cultured protein rather than making immediate regulatory changes.
