Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill HB 1034 has removed the requirement for the Town Manager to submit an annual report on the city's finances and administrative activities to the Town Council and the public. This change means there will no longer be a mandated public disclosure of this report, potentially reducing transparency around how the town manages its finances. This could have important implications for accountability, as residents may have less access to information about the town's operations and spending.
