Agriculture, Energy, and Environment March 3, 2025 A SENATE RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT, NOMINATION, AND CONFIRMATION OF PAMELA BREWINGTON CASHWELL AS SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES.
Be it resolved by the Senate:
Whereas, pursuant to G.S.
143B-9(a), the Governor shall notify the President of the Senate of the name of each person to be nominated as head of a principal State department;
and Whereas, each nomination is subject to senatorial advice and consent in conformance with Section 5(8) of Article III of the North Carolina Constitution;
and Whereas, the Governor has appointed Pamela Brewington Cashwell to serve as Secretary of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources pending further action by the Senate;
Now, therefore, Be it resolved by the Senate:
Having given due consideration to the matter, the Senate confirms Pamela Brewington Cashwell as Secretary of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
That the Senate shall hereby consider whether to confirm Pamela Brewington Cashwell as Secretary of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
