Rules and Operations of the Senate March 26, 2025 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO REQUIRE PARENTAL NOTIFICATION OF SCHOOL THREATS AND SAFETY PLANS, TO CREATE PENALTIES FOR FAILURE TO NOTIFY PARENTS OF SCHOOL THREATS, TO REINSTATE THE TASK FORCE FOR SAFER SCHOOLS, AND TO ESTABLISH THE SCHOOL SAFETY FUND.
and Whereas, building on Senate Bill 74 (2023), this act establishes a parent's right to be notified of anyanycredible credible threats against their child, their child's school, or the local school district;
