What changed in the latest version

In the revised version of Senate Bill 482, the wording has been clarified to ensure that no agency of the State or local government can deny or restrict fundamental rights. This change matters because it strengthens the protection of individual rights by making it clear that all levels of government must uphold these rights without exceptions. Such a clarification can help prevent misunderstandings or misinterpretations in how these rights are applied.
