hb4067-00hb4067 -00-er F L O R I D A H O U S E O F R E P R E S E N T A T I V E S ENROLLED HB 4067 2026 Legislature WHEREAS, on February 27, 2025, the board of supervisors of the Plantation Acres Improvement District voted 4-1 to voluntarily dissolve the district, and WHEREAS, the governing bodies of the City of Plantation and the district have mutually agreed that the district, an independent special district, should be dissolved and become a dependent district of the city to eliminate duplicate services and provide more efficient use of public funds, and WHEREAS, all of the properties that make up the district are included in the jurisdictional boundaries of the city, and WHEREAS, the governing body of the district has agreed that services to the residents would be more efficiently administered if the district is dissolved and becomes a dependent district of the city, NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
