The recent amendments to House Bill 4850 changed the title of a section and removed the word "be" to improve clarity. Importantly, the bill now mandates that the West Virginia State Bar must provide free educational resources online about managing wills and estates, ensuring these resources are easy to find and accessible to those with sight impairments. This change matters because it helps the public better understand their rights and responsibilities regarding wills and estates, promoting transparency and accessibility in legal processes.
