Plain-language change summary

The revised HB 1155 removes the entire home education advisory council, which previously included members from the House of Representatives, the Senate, and various educational organizations. This change means that the state board of education will no longer need to submit proposed rules to this council for review. The repeal simplifies the home education rulemaking process, potentially allowing for quicker decisions in managing home education programs, but it also eliminates a layer of stakeholder input.
