(b) “Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast” or “ADS-B” means an advanced aviation surveillance technology that combines an aircraft’s positioning source, theaircraft aircraft’s avionics, and a ground infrastructure to create an accurate surveillance interface between an aircraft and air traffic control.
