The final version of SB 562 now includes a specific definition of "manufactured housing" as a type of residence eligible for the Granite State home mitigation and resiliency program. This addition clarifies that homes transported in sections and built on a permanent foundation qualify for financial grants aimed at protecting against severe weather. This change matters because it ensures a broader range of homeowners can access support to safeguard their properties, promoting resilience across different types of housing in New Hampshire.
