215 AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO STATE INSPECTIONS OF LONG- TERM CARE FACILITIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1.
Amend Chapter 11, Title 16 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:
§ 1107.
Inspections and monitoring.
(a) The Department shall inspect each long-term care facility on a regular an annual basis to ensure compliance with this chapter and the regulations adopted pursuant to it.
This Act takes effect 90 days after its enactment into law.
This Act takes effect on July 1 following its enactment into law.
SYNOPSIS This amendment changes the effective date provision in Section 2 of the Bill to make the Act effective 90 days after its enactment into law.
SYNOPSIS This Act requires the Department of Health and Social Services to inspect long-term care facilities on an annual basis.
