What changed in the latest version
65 added · 64 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of SB 560 includes changes that formally adopt the latest coordinate system from the National Geodetic Survey for land surveying and mapping in New Hampshire. It clarifies the terminology and sets restrictions on the use of outdated coordinate systems, specifically stating that the New Hampshire coordinate system of 1983 should not be used for new projects after the new system is available. This matters because it ensures that land surveys and maps are based on the most accurate and current standards, improving reliability for property management and development.
