The bill LB 110 has been updated to clarify the requirements for conducting intimate medical examinations. Key changes include a stronger emphasis on the need for written consent before performing these examinations on patients who are unable to give consent due to being anesthetized or unconscious, with exceptions only for emergencies or authorized individuals. These changes are important because they aim to enhance patient trust and ensure that individuals maintain greater control over their medical care, especially during sensitive procedures.
