Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to LB 955 includes a change that allows physician assistants who are part of a collaborative agreement to enter into practice agreements with pharmacists. This is important because it expands the roles and responsibilities of healthcare providers, enabling better collaboration in providing pharmaceutical care. By facilitating this partnership, patients may benefit from improved access to medication management and health services.
