The recent changes to LB 10 relax certain record-keeping requirements for wholesale drug distributors involved in the Prescription Drug Donation Program, particularly during state emergencies. Specifically, these distributors won't have to provide the usual paper or electronic tracking documents for drugs that leave the standard distribution chain. This adjustment is significant as it streamlines the donation process, ensuring that essential medications can be quickly distributed in emergencies without the burden of extensive record-keeping.
