The recent amendment to Bill HB 1838 changes the inspection requirements for motor vehicles in Missouri. Specifically, it broadens the scope of vehicles that must undergo regular inspections by removing exceptions for certain types of commercial vehicles, including those used for farming and those that travel less than one hundred miles per year. This shift aims to ensure that more vehicles on the road meet safety standards, potentially reducing accidents and enhancing public safety.
