The recently amended version of Bill SR 119 now directly urges the Louisiana State University Board of Supervisors to name the LSU Gymnastics Training Center after legendary coach "D-D" Breaux, rather than just requesting them to study the possibility. This change is significant because it demonstrates a strong commitment to honor Coach Breaux's legacy and contributions to women's sports at LSU, streamline the process, and suggests a sense of urgency in recognizing her impact on the gymnastics program.
