1:13(B) and 24:177(E)] HB 367 Engrossed 2026 Regular Session Butler Abstract:
Revises the time period for providing notice of an adjudicatory hearing of the Structural Pest Control Commission.
Present law authorizes the commission to impose civil penalties, probation, and suspend or revoke permits, licenses, and registrations based on an adjudicatory hearing conducted in accordancewiththeAdministrativeProcedureAct(APA).
Furtherrequiresthecommission to provide the alleged violator with at least 30 days of notice of an adjudicatory hearing by certified mail.
Proposed law modifies present law byrequiringa hearing notice be provided in accordance with the APA instead of requiring a minimum 30-day notice period.
